Teen Online Driver Course
The 2 options for teen online courses that meet the state standards and have been approved by Idaho are:
- Driversed.com ($99)
- AAA How to Drive course ($49.95)
The Behind-the-Wheel cost is $300 provided by Hawkins Driver Education.
These courses will provide your teen with the required 30 classroom hours; Hawkins Driver Education will provide the 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction. You may call or email us to get pros/cons on these 2 online options.

For teens 17 and older, a driving training course is not required (but highly recommended), but teens must pass the written test and a skills test in order to obtain an Idaho drivers license. If you are interested in your teen only completing the behind-the-wheel, go to Adult Drivers.
